Description

The size of these A-grade Turkish Tumbled Lavender Jadeite (genuine Jade) gemstones is approximately: 0.85" - 1.4".

These exceptional GIA-identified genuine grade A Turkish Jadeite tumbled stones display a beautiful natural range of lavender, lilac, soft violet, pale pink, cream, and muted neutral tones of Lavender Jade, Unicorn Jade, and Sage Jade. Some pieces show delicate mottling, veining, or contrasting areas of deeper purple, while others blend their colors more subtly throughout the polished stone. Each piece has been smoothly tumbled to reveal the unusual coloration and individual mineral patterns characteristic of this rare material direct from the mine in Turkey.

Turkish Lavender Jade is a jadeite-rich material associated with the Bursa region of western Turkey. This unusual geological occurrence has produced several trade varieties, including Lavender or Purple Jade, Unicorn Jade, and the more recently recognized muted-green material known as Sage Jade. GIA has studied purple jadeite-bearing material from the Bursa region and documented its unusual jadeite-and-quartz composition. Mine documentation references GIA identification reports for Turkish Lavender, Unicorn, and Sage Jade varieties with results identifying the tested material as Jadeite Jade. This A-quality material is offered without resin stabilizers and is completely natural.

Jadeite has long been associated in metaphysical traditions with harmony, prosperity, protection, wisdom, and good fortune. Lavender and purple jade are additionally connected with serenity, intuition, emotional balance, compassion, and spiritual awareness. Turkish Lavender Jadeite may be carried as a pocket stone, incorporated into meditation or crystal work, placed on an altar, or added to a collection for its unusual coloring, rarity, and distinctive geological origin.

About Turkish Jadeite

The Bursa region of western Turkey is known for an unusual jadeite-bearing geological formation unlike the better-known jadeite deposits of Myanmar and other traditional sources. Lavender or Purple Turkish Jade has been documented for its distinctive mixture of jadeite and other naturally occurring minerals, producing the soft violet, lilac, pink, cream, and patterned appearance seen in these stones.

Additional material from this deposit has entered the gem and mineral trade under names including Unicorn Jade and Sage Jade. Sage Jade refers specifically to the softer, muted green variety, while Unicorn Jade is used in the trade for unusual multicolored Turkish jadeite material. These names describe varieties from the Turkish occurrence rather than separate mineral species and are all represented in our beautiful Turkish Jadeite tumble stones.

GIA Identification

Documentation on hand is the Geological Institute of America identification certification reports for the Turkish jade varieties found in our material:

Lavender (Purple) Jade: Result – Jadeite Jade
Unicorn Jade: Result – Jadeite Jade
Sage Jade: Result – Jadeite Jade

These reports document tested material associated with the Turkish jade occurrence.

Please note: Our tumbled stones are NOT accompanied by separate GIA laboratory reports.
