Jumbo Red Abalone Shell OOAK with Wooden Stand & White Sage Stick Set Vintage 50s for Cleansing

This stunning, HUGE, vintage Red Abalone (Haliotis rufescens) shell is part of a wild-harvested, private estate collection from the 1950s. The shell in the photo is the exact one you will receive, making it OOAK (one of a kind). Note the gorgeous nacre of the internal shell and the large, naturally occurring barnacles attached to its exterior.

Thick and luminous rainbow nacre lines the inner shell and two large barnacles are attached to the outer shell, both indicators of the many, many years it spent in the ocean's depths in the Monterey Bay of California before being hand harvested as a food source by a diver, the owner of the estate from which this beautiful shell came from. The shell is heavy and extra large and, as you can see, doesn't even come close to fitting in my hand!

This gorgeous piece will make a beautiful smudge bowl, western guardian or water elemental altarpiece, or simply an amazing shell for home decor. Extremely rare and one-of-a-kind.

The shell size is approximately 8 3/4" long and 7" wide and 2 1/4" internal depth. The black wooden tripod stand is 6" and the chakra roses smudge bundle is 4".

The price includes the exact vintage Red Abalone shell shown in the photo, a new large, wooden tripod stand, and an organic white sage smudge stick with chakra rose petals (as shown).

Suggestions For Use:

Line the interior with aluminum foil to protect the inner lining of the shell (nacre) from being scorched, cover natural vent holes, as well as making cleaning the shell quick and easy.
